Alhaja Sherifat Aregbesola is the delectable wife of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola,  the governor of the State of OSUN. She has been a major fulcrum of support for her husband. Through the tempest that preceded the revalidation of Ogbeni’s mandate and the earlier years of relentless and raging activism, she was the invincible bulwark ensuring that the home-front remained unaffected and unimpaired while providing enough stimuli and strength to keep Ogbeni going. One of the few first ladies who does not believe in the gaudiness and contrived glamour of office, Alhaja Sherifat would rather complement her husband’s people-centric activities than compete for attention with him.
